Wind-On Sword Rigs

Our Deep Drop Swordfish Wind-On Leaders start with 100 feet of 200 pound premium mono wind on leader. The double-spliced loop is made from tough Jerry Brown Spectra™.  The end of the wind on termonates in a 400# three-way tri-swivel.  Attached to the Tri-Swivel is another 15 feet of 400# mono that terminates with a 15/0 3x stainless steel circle hook.  The other eye of the Tri-Swivel is used for a three to four foot 20# strand on mono (supplied by the angler) to attach a sacrificial weight.  The light mono will fail when a big sword takes the bait.
