RDT spreader bars rigged with skirt squid
![]() | Chartreuse Rainbow | Green | Green/Orange | Blue/White | Rainbow | Purple/Black | Black | Pink | Same quality features as outlined above. These bars are rigged with RDT quality skirt squids. Why use skirt squids? Well, it depends your reaction style after a hook up. If you stay the course, then the shell style is probably best for you. If you frequently change direction or speed, then without a doubt, the skirt squid is for you. Maneuvers like that cause the skirt to inflate and retract, similar to a fleeing squid. |

Why use skirt squids? Well, it depends your reaction style after a hook up. If you stay the course, then the shell style is probably best for you. If after the first hookup you quickly change direction or speed, then without a doubt, the skirt squid is for you. Maneuvers like that cause the skirt to inflate and retract, similar to a fleeing squid. A quick 90 degree turn in the opposite direction of the hooked fish will keep pressure on the hooked line and the skirts on the inside baits will inflate, while those on the outside will retract. The maneuver does not take long, a quick turn and hold for about 7 seconds and then quickly turn in the opposite direction for the same about of time.

Enhance your bar with an RDT Slammer Stinger RDT Offshore anglers are always looking for an edge. We are often asked if this or that bar modification will result in more hookups or more frequent bites. Our tackle teams are trying new things every trip; they cover waters from the US North East, south, west, Hawaii, the Caribbean, South America and east/west coasts of Australia. Nearly all of our spreader bar modifications have come from these teams. The single most effective enhancement that any angler can have at hand is an add on Slammer Stinger. The RDT squid bars are rigged with either 5" or 7.5" squid. When the 10" Slammer Stinger is added the angler creats the traditional food-chain emulation; a small pod of squid that is fleeing a predator. Action like this will make any big game fish feel he is missing out on a meal and drives them nuts. Watch them light up go right for that 10 inch Tuna Slammer. RDT offers a large varity of Slammer Stingers, add yours now with this selection: |
