Custom 200s3 Spreader Bars Reel Draggin' Tackle Quality Where It Counts! - Light weight bar made of 316 stainless spring steel |

The RDT 200S3 Spreader Bar is rigged with a 16 inch bar and includes two stinger options and a tackle bag. The first stinger option is an RDT Ballyhoo Rigged 200S3 circle hook stinger. The second stinger option is an RDT 200S3 with internal rigging for a natural ballyhoo. This RDT spreader bar is rigged with four RDT Blue Water 200S3 bullet nose trolling lures that weigh 3.6 oz each. That is a total weight about 14 1/2 oz which will place this bar three or four feet underwater at speeds of around 6 kts. Trolling slower, will place the bar even deeper. That's a GREAT position when you place a big bird chain or humming bird slammer chain in front of it to be the noise maker. A great set up for both Marlin and BIG Tuna. |

Circle Hook Rigging These stingers are rigged for placing the circle hook on the nose of the stinger. We are using high quality stainless steel ball bearing swivels where the circle hook is attached. Using the BB swivel helps ensure the circle hook can turn on its side and hook in the jaw of the fish. This minor enhancement can be the difference between a hook up and a hard pull followed by that sickening "pop". While this method may be new to some, it has been highly effective on Marlin and large Tuna from the Northeast Canyons to Cabo to Australia. This spreader bar includes TWO stinger options. One stinger is rigged with an RDTKL rubber bally hoo. Simply slip the circle hook from the spreader bar through the swivel. The second stinger is ready for a natural ballyhoo. There is a mono loop inside the lure, to rig the ballyhoo slide the hoo into the loop so that the crimp is positioned at the lower chin. A few wraps with copper wire and it is secure. The 200s3 lures are designed with a large hole in the back of the lure head. The ballyhoo should slide right in; this will keep it positioned and running straight. Circle hook rigging trolling baits is is becoming increasingly more popular.

| We do the research! Reel Draggin' Tackle® has tested many spreader bars over the years. We've solicited input from professional mates and captains with years of knowledge and experience fishing for Tuna and other game fish around the world -the overwhelming opinions were to downsize and lighten up the tackle. Results = more strikes, more fish in the boat, and more fun fighting the fish. RDT Spreader Bars are very light weight. They are designed so that several can run from your outriggers at one time. When trolled properly, the bar will be inches above the water. Notice the squid action; our float system helps generate more action by keeping your squid bodies fully formed. More action generates more strikes! |
