| Reel Draggin' Tackle® works great. These were caught outa Ocean City using your Green Draggin Slammer Spreader Bars. The biggest tuna we ever caught. Thanks, we'll never leave the dock without Reel Draggin' Tackle on board! | |
Left the house at 0200 to tow down to Wacha.. Making our way out to the inlet lose a motor. Did some trouble shooting find that water seperator is full of water. Fix the problem motor starts after a few trys runs great the rest of the day. Make our way out to the Lumpy at 28 knots, nice ride. Lines in around 0800, plenty of boats. Spread consists of rainbow spreaders (reel draggin), bally/sea witch/bird combo, bally/sea witches. Nothing for the first hour so we decide to get away from the fleet and move a little North and East. 1000am,,,,, snap,,,zzzzzzzzzzzzz right long rigger (bally/pink sea witch), 10 minutes later 25-30 lb mahi in the boat,, by by skunk. Just as we are pulling the mahi over the side,,zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,,,right short rigger (reel draggin) rainbow spreader bar,,,,as we are going for the rod,,,,snap,,,zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,,,left long rigger (bally/pink sea witch combo) goes off 20 minutes later 55-60 lb yellow fin in the boat. 5 minutes after that we have color and sea about the same size yellow only to pull the hook shortly after. Boats down at the Lumpy creep North to us so we move West and then work our way back down to the South to find that most boast have really spread out or moved North and East. Found several schools of large mahi swirling on top of the water so we troll up beside them, I am standing up front as see about 10 mahi leave the main school and head right for our spread!! under they go and snap,,,,,,,zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz right long rigger again bally/ pink sea witch,,,,,,, 5-10 minutes 25-30 lb mahi in the boat. Picked up a total of 6 mahi all around the same lbs. Also picked up a 37inch blue fin on a bally/white and blue sea witch. lines in around 1700. Great day on the water. FYI,, so far all of our yellow have been caught on your rainbow spreaders!!!! Thanks!!!! I posted this report on tidal fish also. Steve Eisemann |
